Everyone was super-nice and they really seemed to enjoy our ministry.

Also special thanks to the Cliff and the guys from Whitestone who let us use their PA equipment and did a great job making us sound good (if that's possible lol). Special thanks to Stacey Welch for all his help.

July 30th, 2006
Bethel Baptist Church
Enterprise, AL

We had a awesome time at Bethel Baptist Church in Enterprise. It was great to see some old friends (they are NOT old)(lol) and make some new ones. Special thanks to Pastor Mark Cooper for giving us the liberty to minister J.O.E. style. The Holy Spirit was really moving, and the concert turned into a praise and worship service. We pulled out some of our older acoustic songs like Thank You and Have Your Way as well as a song of mine that hasn't seen much play called "I Know". Also, special thanks to Jeff Bostwick, who did a great job running the sound for us.

July 29th, 2006
New Brockton Farm Center
New Brockton, AL

We had a great time in New Brockton. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported J.O.E. Special thanks go out to Travis Parker at Travis Muzik for hooking us up with some stage lighting. We opened up for 7X and Left Wing Severed and it was great to get to play with these bands again. Special kudos go out to our new drummer, Tim Bradley for doing an outstanding job playing a totally unfamiliar drumkit. Our newest song "God Knows" proved to be a pretty good opening song and seemed to be well recieved.

July 8th, 2006
We had a really good practice a couple of nights ago, and things are going very well. We have started preparing for the upcoming (July 29th) event with 7 Times and Left Wing Severed. We also started putting a new song together. It is called "God Knows" and everyone seems to like it a lot. We hope to have it ready by the 29th.

June 10th, 2006
Positive Force Positive Choice Event
Midland City , AL

JesusOwns Everything ministered in Midland City, AL, in the blistering heat. We had a great time in the Lord and got to "unveil" our new drummer, Tim Bradley. He did a great job for only having two practices with us. We look forward to the future of J.O.E. as we get used to him, and he gets used to us.
Thanks to Pastor Ricky and Pastor Andy from PFPC for letting us be a part of this event. We also want to thank Pastor Ricky Martin for allowing us to play our style of "Gospel" music.

June 8th,2006
Well, I guess the most obvious news to report should be our new drummer. His name is Tim Bradley, and we have high hopes for a long musical partnership. We hate to say goodbye to our good friend Stacey Welch (who has been with us since the beginning of J.O.E.), but family comes first, and he knew that he had a tough decision to make. We are all still good friends and hope that we will remain that way. Thank you, Stacey, for all the long days practicing and for all the prayer that you put into J.O.E. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. We wish you all the best.

June 2nd, 2006
The following is a letter from Stacey Welch to all of you who keep up with this site and J.O.E.

J.O.E. Nation, It is with great regret that I come to you with a decision I had to make. Because of family illness and other life decisions, I reluctantly pass my "J.O.E." drumsticks to another. Another, that I believe has been prayerfully chosen by God and J.O.E. I wish him well as I wish J.O.E. well. Although I may not be there as J.O.E.'s drummer, I will be praying for and supporting this ministry in any way I can. I want to thank all of J.O.E. for their love and support over the years. They have been there for me, in the good times, and in the bad times. I will always love you all. Now, J.O.E. Nation where would we be without God and your support, your prayers, and your smiling faces in the crowd cheering us on. I know that your support and prayers will continue, as will mine.
God bless you all,
Stacey Welch

Newton First Assembly of God
Newton, AL

Jesus Owns Everything ministered to the good folks at Newton First Assembly. We had an awesome time in the Lord, and even got to eat some chicken afterward. J.O.E. sends thanks to Pastor Andy for allowing us the opportunity and the liberty to minister.
One of the evenings highlights was getting to meet one of our Myspace friends, Tom. It was a real pleasure to get to fellowship with him and he really was a blessing to us.

December 10th, 2005
Positive Force Positive Choice Event
Bayou LaBatre, AL

J.O.E. again teamed up with PFPC (Positive Force Positive Choice). This time it was in hurricane ravaged Bayou LaBatre, AL. It was an awesome day as we were able to bring a little joy into a community suffering such devastation. It was a pleasure to minister with A.E.S. again, even though Sherman blew up Rich's amp. LOL.

November 20th, 2005
Westgate Shopping Center
Enterprise, AL

J.O.E. played at Westgate Shopping center. Special thanks to 7 Times, who invited us and provided us with an audience (lol). We hope to return the favor one day. We had a good time, even though the weather didn't exactly cooperate. We were blessed to see many of our old friends (and some new ones). Thanks to Travis Parker at Travis Tanz for putting up with us. We are trying to get ready to go to Bayou La Batre, AL with our good friends at PFPC (Positive Force Positive Choice) and our good friends A.E.S.(An Eternal Sign). We are praying for unseasonably warm weather, because we are too old (lol) to play in freezing temperatures.
I wrote another song last week. It is called "Altar In My Heart", and it is in its developmental stage. That means that I expect it to change a lot as we start working out parts.

November 16th, 2005
We had a good practice last night and are getting ready for Sunday (November 20th) when we will be playing at Westgate Shopping Center with 7 Times, and other musical guests. I wrote a new song this past Sunday (Nov. 13th). It is called "Closer". I haven't shared it with the guys yet, but Kim likes it, and she's a pretty tough critic (lol).

October 29th, 2005
Enterprise Fall Festival
Enterprise, AL

J.O.E. played at the Enterprise Fall Festival. We had a great time, and want to thank the guys from 7 Times, and all our friends who came out to support us. Special thanks to Special Event Coordinator Warren Bowron.

Ft. Rucker 50th Anniversary Celebration
Ft. Rucker, AL

J.O.E. helped celebrate Ft. Rucker's 50th Anniversary with a set Saturday morning. We were blessed with a beautiful day and the presence of our friends and family. The "Best Dressed Award" goes to Brian and Shirley , who sported their "J.O.E. Nation" T-shirts proudly. Thanks to Dieter for getting us involved. We had a great time.

October 20th, 2005
We are gearing up for the Fort Rucker 50th Anniversary Celebration coming up Saturday Oct. 22nd. We are scheduled to play from noon until 1:00. We will have our last practice for this event tonight, and we will go with what we've got. I wrote a new song yesturday morning. It is called "You Remind Me". Basically, it is about when I am having a bad day (which I really had Tuesday) and God always finds a way to remind me that He is in control, not the circumstances that I see. I'm not sure if this will be a J.O.E. song or what, but I hope to get it out there somehow.

October 8th, 2005
Waffle King Plaza Battle Of The Bands
Ozark, AL

J.O.E. (Jesus Owns Everything) participated in "The Battle Of The Bands" in Ozark, AL. It was really more of a charity concert for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Red Cross. David Frizzell and Nashville Star winner Brad Cotter were the headliners and there were many other local bands that performed. Please keep Jackie Lowery, the event promoter, in your prayers. Jackie put a lot of work into the event and was hospitalized the night before, and was unable to attend. Our prayers are with him and his family. We thank him for allowing us to be a part of this event.

September 26th, 2005
A lot has happened since my last entry. We started working on a couple of new songs last week. "This I Know" is one of Rich and Cindy's songs and "Your Name Is" is one of mine. They are both worship songs and I am excited about each of them.
We finally got around to taking a "band picture". It is on our upcoming events page, and I think Rich put it on our home page, so check it out. We will redo this in a couple of months, but for now it will do. It will be on our flyers for the upcoming events in October.

September 10th, 2005
Morgan Square Mall Hurricane Katrina Benefit Concert
Enterprise, AL

J.O.E.(Jesus Owns Everything) took part in a Benefit Relief Festival for the victims of hurricane Katrina. We were blessed to meet and minister with Instructions To Timothy, a band from Birmingham, AL. A great time was had by all, and a worthy cause was helped. Special thanks go out to Cindy Johannes. The gift basket that she made to raffle off as a fund-raiser garnered about $50 for the cause. Congrats to George Webster on winning the basket.

September 9th, 2005
We have been invited to participate in a benefit concert for the victims of hurricane Katrina. It will be Saturday, September 10th, at the Morgan Square Mall parking lot in Enterprise, Al. Other Christian bands will also perform. Music is scheduled to begin at 1pm and last until 5pm. Morgan Square Mall is on Rucker Blvd.

September 6th, 2005
We had a good practice, last night, and got a good start on a new song. "Foot Of The Cross (Finding My Way)" is a song I wrote last year and it was always intended to be a J.O.E. song, but the time just never seemed right, because we knew it was going to be a lot of work.

August 17th, 2005
We had a good practice last night. We started working out parts for one of Rich's songs, "Sacrifice Of Praise". Rich has had this song for many, many years and now it seems that the time is right to kick off the dust and arrange it for the group. We all like it a lot and look forward to what it will become as we continue to work on it.

August 4th, 2005
Metro Music
Dothan, AL

J.O.E. (Jesus Owns Everything) played at Metro Music in Dothan, Al. We had a great time and REALLY appreciate the guys at Metro and Greg (the soundman) for having us out.

July 22nd, 2005
Another productive week. I finished another new song. It's called "A New Way", and its just a result of being sick of the trusted cliches that are commonly used in Christian songs, my own included. I'm sure that God never tires of hearing that we love Him, but maybe we should expand our vocabulary in doing that.

July 15th, 2005
WOW! What a productive week. I started (and possibly finished) a new song yesterday evening. It's called "I Don't Count", and it is not what you might think. It's about keeping stats on altar calls for our own glorification. While we should rejoice (and I mean REALLY rejoice!) in every soul saved at an event, keeping a tally for "bragging rights" is just spiritually offensive. I don't know why the Lord laid it on my heart to write this song, and realistically it will probably never be heard by anyone outside the band, but, it has made me more aware of how God wants me to handle this aspect of ministry. It's His Glory and I don't want any for myself, I only want Him to be glorified. Whew! Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now (lol).
Brad

July 13th, 2005
Well, after a long break, I was finally able to finish "When I Fall On My Knees". This is a song that I had started last year, and just never got around to finishing. We started putting the parts together at our last practice, and we are liking it a lot. Hopefully, Kim will take the lead vocals on this one. Also be sure to leave Otober 8th open on your calandar, as we will once again be in Ozark, Al for a battle of the bands concert. It's not really a battle as much as a concert for charity. This year it will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. More details will be announced later, so keep checking back.

June 23rd, 2005
June 4th, we were at Lake Eufaula for the White Oak Jam, and June 18th we were at Poplar Head Park in Dothan. The weeks before that were spent rehearsing and rehearsing, and then more rehearsing. We were able to add a new song, "From My Heart". It was the first time we had played it live, and it went well in Eufaula, but it was much better in Dothan. The Spirit was really moving, and several people told me how powerful it was for them. Praise the Lord!

Snuff City Fest
Samson, AL

J.O.E. weathers the grey misty day at the Snuff City Fest. We kept waiting for the sun to break through, but it never did. We had a lot of fun anyway, and we were well recieved by an audience geared up for country music. We played two sets of original songs and got to enjoy a couple of country acts. All in all a good day despite the weather.

November 10th,2004
J.O.E. had its last practice before the Snuff City Fest last night. We are ready. Yeah!! We even had time left over to add some organ parts to "From My Heart". This song is coming together really well. Oh, by the way, there are finally a couple of pictures on the site. I hope we get some new ones this weekend, and can get them posted shortly after. If YOU have a digital camera and would like to take pictures of us for our website, feel free to help us out. I am doing the webmaster thing for this site (so it's all my fault)(lol) until we get famous and hire someone who knows what they are doing. (lol)
Brad

November 9th, 2004
We started working on a new song last night. It's called "From My Heart". This song started as I was spending time with the Lord a couple of Sundays ago. I played Rich and Stacey the rough draft at practice last week, and last night we started developing parts and it took on a life of its' own. We hope to have it ready by Thanksgiving.
